Interested in joining the LAOH?
The Catherine Martin Mellage Division of the LAOH is located in Wake County, North Carolina. We meet on the second Sunday of every month, excluding June and August, at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 4301 Columbus Club Dr. Raleigh NC, 27614.
What are the qualifications for membership?
To qualify for membership, you must be at least 18 years old and a practicing Roman Catholic, plus meet one of the following criteria:
- Irish by birth, decent or legal adoption
- OR the wife or mother of a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians or Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians
- OR a woman of a Catholic religious order
What is the process for joining?
After we receive your application, a member of our order will contact you with more information. If you qualify and would like to proceed with joining, you will be invited to one of our general meetings for induction into our order. Our meetings are closed, so you may not visit before you join, but you are welcome to attend a public social event before joining to learn more about the ladies and our group.
