Project St. Patrick

Project St. Patrick is a charitable initiative spearheaded by the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) and the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH). Established to support the education and formation of seminarians and religious novices, Project St. Patrick provides financial aid to those pursuing vocations within the Catholic Church. Through scholarships and grants, the project helps alleviate the financial burdens associated with religious education, ensuring that dedicated individuals can answer their calling to serve. By investing in the future leaders of the Church, Project St. Patrick fosters the growth of Catholic faith communities and upholds the values of friendship, unity, and Christian charity central to the Hibernian mission.

The Women’s Center

The Women’s Center of Wake County uses evidence-based practices to provide stability and housing for single women experiencing homelessness. They offer important resources like group mutual aid and recovery programming, safety and stabilization services and connection with onsite medical and behavioral healthcare resources, as well as providing for essentials through laundry, showers, meals and other basic needs.

SOAR! Support Our Aging Religious

Support Our Aging Religious raises funds and provides grants to help Catholic religious congregations in the United States care for their aging members. These grants address needs such as renovations for accessibility, automatic doors, hospital beds and assistive devices. In addition to safety improvements, our funding priorities are for projects that address quality of life for retired, aging members of religious congregations. This assistance ensures the safety, peace of mind, and dignity of aging Sisters, Brothers and Priests.

Missionary Society of St. Columban

The Columbans are a society of missionaries, including priests and lay people, who minister to people of various cultures as a way of witnessing to the universal love of God. We go in the name of the Church to announce, by deed and word, the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Missionary Sisters of St. Columban

A congregation of missionary religious women whose commitment to God leads us to cross boundaries of culture, language and belief to proclaim the Good News of Jesus in today’s world. This order responds to their call to live creatively, and be enriched by our inter-cultural and inter-generational realities.
